For four years I've been doing stories as a journalist for French and German TV about American communities with a common passion / religion.

Here are some of my favorite ones.

Unless otherwise specified, I was shooter, writer and director.

COALROLLERS

They're proud to be rednecks and crazy about black diesel clouds. I met coalrollers in the middle nature, and spent a healthy weekend smoking with them upstate NY. The story was aired on French / German TV ARTE - TRACKS, edited by Aldo Lee. It is here.

BOAT PUNKS

They live afloat and sail the seas, they're more free than you and me, they're the boat punk community. I met them for French / German Tv Arte - TRACKS.

RUBE GOLDBERG

There is a national contest in the US for the most complicated Rube Goldberg machine. I followed some Rube Goldberg teams and a professional Rube Goldberg artist, and I met Rube Goldberg's granddaughter - but do you know who Rube Goldberg is ?

DIGITAL

DETOX

I use my cellphone too much, so I recenty went to a deserted island in Michigan (and swam in Lake superior) and camped on a roof in Brooklyn - all this, with absolutely no wifi or any phone around. The good news is I survived, and it was aired on French / German TV Arte.

JUGGALOS

In 2012 I attended the gathering of the Juggalos and made several stories for French / German TV Arte - TRACKS. I drank beers with ICP, smoked cigarettes with Bushwick Bill and other stuff with Cheech and Chong, talked hip hop with the Fat Boys and rap with Kool Keith.

Where would Laura Ingalls live nowadays ? Probably in an airstream. That's a 6' story for French Top gear "Turbo" on M6.

Who said you can't race with a very very cheap car ? Cars under 500 dollars, most of them found in trash state, are offered a second wind by those passionnate and funny drivers. Watch it.

INTO THE WILD

In 2013 I attended the falling Leaves Rendez-vous where I learnt how to eat meat from roadkill, firecook it without a lighter and make a shirt with the skin... almost. Watch it.

Keep In News produced in 2013 this documentary about the Harlem Shake phenomenon. I directed the New York part, and met the REAL Harlem shakers... here.
